Sometimes there’s a certain common aspect between two players’ games that makes you ignore any other potential problems with their equivalence.
For Dante Robinson, a speedster with a rocket arm, and Josh Elkan, a former speedster who has an arm, that one common trait was a bottomless pit of a stomach. I’ve once seen Josh Elkan sit down with a tray full of pizza, fruit, chips and sugar cookies and get back up with a tray of fruit ready to double his intake. Have you ever seen Dante not eat? Kids got a sandwich with him seemingly every time he comes up to bat. How does he not puke all over Eckman Acres?
