Attendees
Based on the subsequent Facebook event, there were apparently 6 (!) teams at this event. Must have been a wild set of games. I have to assume McGrath had his own team, Ian Leopold had his own team and Mark had his own team. Fleischer and McGrath were apparently split for the first time. The Leopold brothers ended up on the same team.

Among the participants were most likely Ian McGrath, Ian Leopold, Andy Leopold, Jarrett Felix, Tom Lorenzi, Alex Fleischer, I want to say this was the random year Eric Lau showed up, Mark Pyfer, Todd Warszawski, John Miller, Zach Hordeski, Zach Jacobs, Dave Lerman, Mitch Sacks, Brett Tannenbaum, Connor McCann, Ed Brown, Charlie Smugar, Dan Johnson, this may have been the year Tyler Betteridge showed up as well but can't be sure (either this or the one before based on Facebook) and probably more (potentially Mitch Silver, Max Massey, Jae Kim, Brian Lee, Evan Mao, Justinas, Jordan Rothfield, Rob Bonasia)

Like I said, we apparently had 6 teams so that must have been 25-30 people in attendance

What I Remember
Pretty sure McGrath's team did in fact lose, but also it was not because of my team. I also remember this being Ted Nam's first of two big time performances (per subsequent Facebook posts, he won Co-MVP honors and had a game winning TD catch in the semi-finals). I think it was because of Ian Leopold's team which I believe also had Andy Leopold. It was a real changing of the guard moment. Assuming I can remember anything correctly at this point. From 2011 to 2015 they all sort of run together.

Results
Winning Team featured (piecing together subsequent Facebook posts): Ian Leopold, Andy Leopold (apparently a Co-MVP)

Teddy Nam was at least in the finals (looks like he was also on the winning squad), neither McGrath nor Fleischer won per subsequent Facebook posts

Felixbowl VII: One More for Good Measure

Date: August 13, 2011
Time: 1:00 PM
Location: Mondauk Park, Fort Washington PA

Event Description (Facebook)
This is one last footbal version of the felixbowl and it will close out my activities for the summer. This is different than the other event I just made right before this so yea I'm sorry for the confusion.

The format will be similar to the other bowls, hopefully it will be as epic.

As usual anyone is invited, as long as they are on time.

Team 2

Team 3

Team 4

At least Charlie Smugar, Todd Warszawski, Jae Kim and I'd guess Mitch Sacks as well. Likely had 20ish competitors based on the number of players on the winning team. Some possible others featured would be Evan Mao, Max Massey, Brett Tannenbaum, Tom Lorenzi and Tyler Betteridge. Francis may have come late

What I Wrote in 2011's Felix Bowl, A History
After a summer filled with new look Felixbowls, it was time to get back to the basics and end the summer with a football battle that was Felixbowl VII. Mark Pyfer was unfortunately absent for the first time in Felixbowl history, a surprising turn of events which led to first time captain John Miller taking the helm. Unfortunately Miller’s team struggled and was eliminated early. McGrath’s team struggled to shut down Ian Leopold as Ed Brown connected with him during some key moments, giving Leopold’s team a bye to the title. After a tough fought, slightly controversial at points semi final, McGrath’s team stamped out Felix’s, with key catches from Hordeski and McGrath and of course one of the unsung heroes of the tournament Dave Lerman. It set up a dramatic rematch in the championship game between Ian’s Leopold and McGrath. After taking an early lead on key catches from Dan Johnson, Leopold’s team looked poised to take the championship, but Fleischer led some key drives for his team as they stayed composed even in the 2 minute drill. It was an exciting back and forth championship that went into an epic overtime finale. Ultimately when all was said and done and the dust was cleared from a controversial pass interference call, McGrath and company had overcome all obstacles. History was made as Lerman took his first title and his 4 teams added another ring. Fleischer became just the third player in Felixbowl history to win his first three Felixbowl appearences (the other two won the first three, which included two 2 team bowls, neither of said players have won a Felixbowl since), and Ian McGrath won his third straight title and his fourth in five years. McGrath became the winningest player in Felixbowl history with 4 championships. He has won 4 out of his 5 bowl appearances and has been in the championship every year he has played.
What I Remember Now
Couldn't really tell you much. It sounds like it was a pretty epic final, but I think I was just watching sadly so I probably blocked out this stretch from my memory. I actually think that this tournament and the next 1 or 2 surrounding it were awesome finals that I was not apart of.

By the looks of things McGrath won again which spawned the title for the next championship event. There also appeared to be a somewhat controversial pass interference call based on the event comments.

Results
Winning Team: Ian McGrath, Alex Fleischer, Dave Lerman, Zach Jacobs, Zach Hordeski (maybe the best team in Felix Bowl history)
Runners-Up: Ian Leopold's team which included Ed Brown and Dan Johnson

Offensive MVP: Zach Hordeski, Defensive MVP: Alex Fleischer

Felix Bowl VI: The Quest for More Attention (Basketball)

Date: July 23, 2011
Time: 7:00 PM
Location: Thomas Fitzwater Elementary School

Event Description (Facebook)
So yes this another felixbowl, this time its another sport thats not football, im hoping to get a little basketball tournament together for this next time. The game might be moved to Mondauk but I like using Fitz. Teams will most likely be of 3. Hopefully, this works out well, volleyball was a big success.

As usual anyone is invited, just be on time.

Jarrett Felix and then I'm guessing here we had Ian McGrath, Andrew Gourlay, Michael Fuery, Dave Lerman, Mitch Sacks, Ian Leopold, Alex Fleishcer, I think Mark Pyfer and possibly Tom Lorenzi and probably some others. I want to say there were three to four teams of three.

What I Remember
Again, not very much. This was during a stretch where I was trying to mix up the Felix Bowl rotation. I feel like Michael Fuery came to one of these Basketball bowls and was really good. Considering I'm not positive the other basketball event even happened, I assume it must have been this one.

?? Again, no idea who won, but I'm fairly certain it wasn't me. I want to say Ian Leopold's team won, but can't be certain.

Felixbowl V: V is for Volleyball

Date: June 26, 2011
Time: 2:00 PM
Location: 1816 Patricia Ave, Willow Grove PA (listed in the event as etrain's house)

Event Description (Facebook)
The first ever felix bowl with a volleyball tournament twist, looking for teams of 4 to play on my net. Not sure how long this is going to take because i only have one court so I'll have to think of stuff to do for the teams not playing but hopefully it will be awesome!

Attendees
I can't remember what teams were or how many were involved but Jarrett Felix participated, I'm pretty sure Ed Brown was there, it looks like Ian McGrath, Ian Leopold, Mitch Sacks, Todd Warszawski and maybe Andrew Gourlay were there. I'm also speculating we saw some combination of Connor McCann, Mitch Silver, and Francis Ferruzzi

What I Remember
We played some volleyball at my house, which we did a lot for a couple summers there. Only this time, it was in a FelixBowl style tournament setting. I feel like Ed was watching tennis in between games. That's all I've got though.

Results
??, but I'm almost positive I didn't win
